Transfer children

Quickly and easily transfer children's profiles to different Tapestry packages

Whether a child is moving entirely or just to a different part of the same service, transitions can be disruptive. You can help smoothen the transition with Tapestry’s flexible and secure transfer children feature.

If a child moves to a new service, you can transfer a copy of a child’s (or children’s) profiles and all their existing data to any other Tapestry account. This means their future educators can see all the observations, photos, videos and assessments lovingly curated throughout the years prior – this facilitates and supports the educators in knowing about the child, their previous learning experiences and what they have enjoyed up to that point.

Furthermore, at the end of a child’s time on Tapestry, parents can see and keep a single, complete journey.
